General Ledger, Forecasting, Balance Sheet, for the surgical unit
Job Description
• Support plant finance function within Operation finance. Collaborate with cost center & plant manager, functional leaders & Finance Business Partners in developing annual budgets/quarterly projections, including clear documentation of assumptions & posting in JDE ERP System.
• Own cost accounting function for manufacturing plants.
• Record month-end journal entries (accruals, reclasses, charge in/outs, & prepaid amortization) for all cost centers supported; ensure accurate reporting of financial results in JDE.
• Analyze financial variances for cost center actuals, projections, and budget.
• Compile Month-End Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
• Support inventory accounting and inventory reserve analysis.
• Ad-hoc analytical support for cost center managers on an as-needed basis.
• Provide project support for continuous improvement for the group as a whole.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. 2+ years of experience - Financial analysis / Accounting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a face-paced, challenging environment, strong attention to detail.
• Self-driven, proactive, and seeks continuous improvement.
