Job Description Job Description: The Goucher College Department of Computer and Data Science in Baltimore, MD invites applications for adjunct instructor positions to start in August 2024. This position involves teaching a four-credit section of introductory statistics for non-majors, or a section of calculus, in person. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or master's degree in statistics, mathematics, or a related field. All candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching. Candidates who have experience in using active, inclusive teaching pedagogies will be preferred. Qualifications: Required: Ph.D. or master’s in statistics, mathematics, or a related field at the time of hiring. Preferred: Teaching experience at the undergraduate level; use of active, inclusive teaching pedagogies.
