In Office or Remote Data Entry Clerk
Eagle Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and updating patient data into our electronic database in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills and be familiar with medical terminology, as well as possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Enter patient demographic and medical information into our electronic database
ā¢ Update and maintain patient records as needed
ā¢ Review data for accuracy and make necessary corrections
ā¢ Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incorrect information
ā¢ Ensure confidentiality and privacy of all patient data
ā¢ Keep track of all incoming and outgoing data and maintain a log of completed work
ā¢ Collaborate with other team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness
ā¢ Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent
ā¢ Previous experience in data entry, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting
ā¢ Proficient typing and data entry skills
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
ā¢ Excellent organizational skills
ā¢ Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
ā¢ Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus
ā¢ Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
Working Conditions:
This position can be performed in our office or remotely, depending on the preference of the candidate. If working remotely, the candidate must have a suitable home office setup with reliable internet access. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
