WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an In-Home Kitchen Planner, initiating the kitchen planning process to create tailored design solutions, you will: Accurately measure, interpret, and draw out installation space and upload the data in a timely manner, and within the IKEA requirements using IKEA technology. Review layout of kitchen and all project paperwork with customer to ensure all components are correct and all measurements are accurate. Utilize measurement and construction skills, combined with expertise in modular furniture planning and foundational design principles, to create tailored solutions that meet customers' needs. Review appliance, electrical and plumbing locations to ensure they are captured on the measurement documents. Resolve customer concerns with empathy, reinforcing IKEA values throughout each interaction. Assess customers? needs and promote the service that fits best. Understand the store and department action plans. Actively contribute to achieving your department's goals. Utilize in-depth knowledge of IKEA's products, services, and multi-channel solutions to ensure customers can shop conveniently, whether in-store or remotely, whenever and however they prefer. Promote the IKEA commercial priorities by securing high quality services, in a cost and time effective way both in the home and in the store.
