JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. HRBP provides guidance and solutions to business teams pertaining to all human resources disciplines specializing in strategic HR programs, with a focus on Compensation and knowledgeable and proficient in the M&A process with the ability to work on projects. This senior position will be collaborating with all levels of management to facilitate the delivery of various HR shared service initiatives. The ideal Sr. HRBP will primarily serve as the point of contact for leaders regarding the Employer Value Proposition (EVP), including IMS’ Total Rewards Package, drives and support the Talent Management program providing innovative and creative best practices and trends. This position will be the dedicated support to the Client Services (Consulting) teams and act as a results-oriented change and integration agent for mergers & acquisitions (M&A’s). This position reports to the VP of HR and collaborates with the Chief People Officer, and other senior levels of the leadership team. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Addresses compensation challenges, such as pay strategies, talent retention, internal compression, and market competitiveness Serves as an internal consultant and strategic business advisor to internal leadership and other key stakeholders Provides pay package recommendations and influences the company's direction regarding compensation programs to meet current and future business needs Drives important initiatives to improve the company’s base and variable compensation Ensures pay programs support the organization's strategic objectives; identifies solutions and opportunities that leverage current industry trends; and assists the company with achieving a best-in-class outlook on total rewards that continues to improve our competitive position and employee experience Works closely with HR senior management to develop and implement an HR strategy that aligns with the company's corporate priorities and HR goals Aligns HR strategies with the business strategy, ensuring the right talent, leadership, and organizational capabilities will drive corporate growth and M&A initiatives Provides HR leadership throughout the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, organizational design, workforce integration, and cultural alignment Creates and implements talent retention, leadership transition, and communication strategies for acquired companies Acts as a trusted advisor and partner to business leaders, providing advice, guidance, and support on all HR matters, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, compensation, and M&A’s (including culture integration of new companies) Applies advanced theories, principles, and concepts to developing solutions to complex projects, including base pay and job architecture and differentiated reward / incentive programs Implements employee relations strategies designed to create an environment that drives maximum individual and team success; facilitates the resolution of employee relations issues Partners with leadership teams to increase focus on performance management to maximize employee contributions and proactively address performance issues KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of all HR regulatory requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Ability to work with a strategic collaborative solutions-based mindset Ability to think creatively and provide strategic thought leadership, with proven influencing skills at all levels of the organization A culturally and purpose driven Core Values individual with a servant leadership mindset EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PPT) Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and/or Human Resources Certification Institute (HCRI) certification or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of progressively responsible HR Generalist experience in a multi-state environment Human Resources experience in consulting, legal, and/or professional services industry Experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, and M&A, including HR due diligence and pre- and post-merger integration Experience with embracing change and facilitating the implementation of change management initiatives for the evolving business/company Experience with compensation surveys, analyses, and plan implementation and maintenance; experience with making base and variable pay recommendations for private equity or publicly traded company Experience with HR technologies, including Paylocity or similar Human Resources Information System (HRIS) system Experience with HR law, compensation management, salary planning, workforce analytics, and project administration LOCATION: This position is 100% remote and supports east to west coast time zones Our Employer Value Proposition Includes A competitive compensation package with 401K match Flexible PTO and 12 paid holidays Robust Health & Welfare Benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance, all with generous company contributions Career development programs supported through an integrated Learning Platform Talent Identification Program to recognize and reward our high performing, high potential team members through career growth opportunities and unique development experiences IMS Legal Services is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
