Implementation Success Coach - K12 EdTech Scheduling (Contract)

Remote Full-time
Abl believes every student deserves the opportunity to maximize their potential by making informed and meaningful choices about their lives and futures. Unfortunately, many students aren’t given the same opportunities due to systemic inequities perpetuated by outdated, unresponsive systems. Abl offers advanced, data-driven software and services to help K12 school and district leaders identify and remove those barriers to equity. The Abl team is made up of education leaders and experts working together with engineers, designers, and data scientists to build the tools schools districts need to shape pathways for each student to achieve success.

As an Abl Success Coach Contractor, you will be responsible for providing coaching support to school teams as they implement Abl’s Scheduler. Working under the umbrella of our Client Experience Team, you will conduct coaching sessions with school teams following scheduling workshops, aiming to ensure smooth integration of strategic scheduling practices into their schools.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual coaching sessions with school teams post each scheduling workshop to reinforce learning and address specific challenges.
• Guide school teams in understanding and applying scheduling principles discussed in workshops, ensuring alignment with equity and strategic goals.
• Facilitate discussions with school teams to identify barriers to effective scheduling and develop strategies for overcoming them.
• Provide technical support related to accessing and navigating the scheduling tool (Abl’s Scheduler) and troubleshooting any issues encountered.
• Assist school teams in analyzing data and making informed decisions regarding course requests, scheduling groups, and section placements.
• Collaborate with school leaders and stakeholders to ensure buy-in and understanding of the scheduling process and its impact.
• Maintain documentation of coaching sessions, including action plans, progress updates, and any relevant feedback.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of coaching sessions and provide recommendations for improvement to enhance school team support.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in K-12 education, preferably in a school leadership or instructional support role.
• Strong understanding of scheduling principles, equity in education, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and other educational technology tools.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate group discussions, manage conflicts, and drive consensus among team members.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of education and scheduling practices.

Additional Requirement:

Availability for approximately 20 hours per week to conduct coaching sessions and provide support to school teams as needed.

Note: This job description serves as a general overview of the role's responsibilities and qualifications. Specific duties may vary based on the needs of individual school teams and ongoing program requirements.
