Implementation Consultant- PDM

Job Requisition ID # 25WD91633 Position Overview Autodesk is looking for an Implementation Consultant (PDM) - a team player who will work directly with our main Customers to design customized and configured solutions for product data management systems. You will work directly with Customers to understand their needs as they relate to revision control, item master approach, and BOM structure. Based on that understanding, you will define and implement an overall approach that uses Autodesk PDM & CAD authoring products. This role is within our Technical Advisory Organization and is a position focused on Data Management solutions and transforming our customers’ business. We support hybrid or remote working, and you will report to the Senior Manager, Professional Services Consulting. NOTE: This is NOT an open position. Responsibilities • Collaborate with customers and colleagues in all phases of PDM projects (from business development, analysis, design to implementation) • Implement solutions for global Customers from the Design & Manufacturing business using the capability of Autodesk applications • Produce written documentation of solutions and implementation activities • Build trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues Minimum Qualifications • 10+ years of experience of activities, and tools associated with document and information flow in the Design & Manufacturing industry • In depth working knowledge of PDM (Autodesk Vault or similar) • Knowledge of company and industry best practices and their rationale • Ability to effectively communicate in a multinational ecosystem • Excellent English & One Nordic language, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish (both oral and written). Another local language is a plus. • Occasional travel will be required. Preferred Qualifications • Firsthand experience of tools, techniques, and practices for analyzing the purpose and scope of a product, a process, or project regarding cost and benefits • Understand and work with CAD authoring tools • Exposure to & experience with the Building Product Manufacturer industry • Deeper understanding of manufacturing and supply chain related challenges and processes (BOM, ERP) • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in architecture, engineering, computer science, or related degree or equivalent experience The Ideal Candidate • Customer company: We are committed to providing a value-based customer experience as we are delivering our solutions.
