The attorney will ensure the highest standards of legal service, achieving successful outcomes for clients while maintaining compliance with immigration laws and regulations. This role requires a commitment to client advocacy, strategic case management, and continuous professional development to adapt to the evolving landscape of immigration law. • Core Responsibilities: • ● Prepare and manage humanitarian visa applications, including asylum and refugee cases. ● Handle family-based immigration cases, including petitions and adjustments of status. ● Represent clients in removal proceedings and provide strategic defense. ● Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs and motions. ● Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management. ● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations. ● Provide compassionate and effective client communication and counsel. ● Responsible for reviewing a minimum of 7 packets per week ● Responsible for meeting with clients to draft declarations. ● Responsible for ensuring all documents and packets are accurate prior to final review of the Senior Attorney. ● Responsible for conducting a minimum of 10 initial consultation with potential clients per week. • Qualifications: • ● Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. ● Active bar membership. Texas Preferred. ● Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law, focusing on humanitarian, family-based, and removal cases. ● Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. ● Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
