As a Warehouse Freight Handler at DHL, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and processing freight within our warehouse operations. Your role will involve loading and unloading freight from trucks and containers, organizing shipments for storage or distribution, and ensuring accuracy in all logistical processes to meet customer requirements.
Freight Handler Key Responsibilities:
 Safely load and unload freight using powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
 Organize and prepare freight for storage or shipment according to company procedures and customer orders.
 Verify accuracy of freight contents, labels, and documentation to ensure precise outbound shipments.
 Replace equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed and maintain power supply for continuous operation.
 Identify and report discrepancies such as damaged or missing freight promptly.
 Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility and equipment, conducting regular inspections.
 Assist with inventory management tasks and participate in physical counts as required.
