In this role, you will:
 Develop and maintain positive relationships with and advocate before Members of Congress and their staffs with responsibility for representing Verizon before Republican members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate.
 Coordinate Republican outreach to advance VerizonÂs priority issues.
 Execute strategies for advancing complex policy frameworks that address broadband, spectrum, privacy, taxation, and other critical business issues that create a platform for long-term growth for Verizon, our employees and, our shareholders.
 Serve as a strategist for Republican political outreach, including coordinating PAC giving to Republican candidates.
 Represent Verizon in national political forums, in business coalitions, community partnerships and other internal forums.
What weÂre looking for...
YouÂll need to haveÂ
 Bachelor's degree.
 8+ years of experience working on Capitol Hill and/or lobbying experience in the telecom and technology industry or relevant trade association.
 Established network of professional relationships with specific line of sight into Congressional politics in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate.
 Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
 Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Even better if you haveÂ
 Advanced degree.
Where youÂll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
