 Key Responsibilities:**
 **Revenue Recognition:** Oversee revenue recognition procedures and accounts receivable. Collaborate with the FP&A/Revenue Cycle Management team to drive efficiencies and establish best practices.
 **Process Improvement:** Design and implement processes and controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and existence of revenue recognition, including balance sheet reconciliations.
 **Month-End Close:** Prepare and review critical month-end files with FP&A and RCM to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
 **Policy Update:** Assist in updating revenue recognition policies and memos in accordance with US GAAP and ongoing technical accounting research.
 **General Ledger Maintenance:** Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial transaction recording and appropriate coding.
 **Reconciliations and Journal Entries:** Prepare and review accounting reconciliations, approve related journal entries.
 **Communication:** Effectively communicate changes in contractual adjustments and required bad debt reserves with RCM, FP&A, and joint venture health system accounting teams.
 **Financial Close Management:** Ensure timely and accurate financial close on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Improve close and reporting cycles.
 **Transaction Identification:** Identify recurring and non-recurring transactions for management reporting.
 **Internal Controls:** Develop and enforce effective internal controls in compliance with GAAP and regulatory laws.
 **Annual Financial Objectives:** Support the establishment of annual financial objectives aligning with the company's operational, growth, and profitability plans.
 **Project Management:** Manage additional projects as needed, such as system implementations or upgrades.
Qualifications
 Healthcare Revenue Experience:** Strong understanding and experience in healthcare revenue preferred.
 ERP Systems:** Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
 GAAP Knowledge:** Thorough understanding of GAAP, internal controls, operational risk assessment, and financial reporting.
 Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; anticipate issues and provide sound guidance for resolution.
 Excel Proficiency:** Advanced proficiency in Excel preferred.
 Communication Skills:** Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
 Project Management:** Proven ability to manage projects, allocate resources, and collaborate across disciplines and locations. Excellent organizational skills.
 Work Ethic:** Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, with high integrity and ethical standards.
 Team Management:** Experience in managing a team.
Education
 BachelorÂs degree in accounting required.
 CPA certification preferred but not required.
Experience
 4+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience required.
 Public accounting experience with national accounting firms through the manager level preferred.
