Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Pay: 21.24/hr

Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Schedule: Assigned shifts vary from 7AM-8PM CT. Training hours 8AM-430PM CT

Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Job Duties:
• Take incoming calls from members, providers, etc providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process.
• Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.
• Identify and elevate clinical inquiries to the pharmacist team as appropriate.
• Other duties assigned, for example faxes, sorting, email boxes, CAS maintenance, etc.

Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Qualifications Required Skills/Experience:

· High School diploma or GED

· Prior authorization experience

· Call center experience
