In this pivotal role, you will conduct engaging classes centered on AP English and SAT English preparation, employing effective teaching methodologies to help students build a robust academic foundation and attain high scores.
Key Responsibilities
 Facilitate dynamic classroom discussions that promote student engagement and critical analysis.
 Design and prepare comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
 Plan, assess, and enhance curricula and instructional methods to optimize student learning outcomes.
 Maintain regular office hours to offer support and guidance to students.
 Collaborate with fellow instructors to navigate teaching challenges and enhance instructional practices.
 Select and acquire relevant teaching resources with the assistance of center staff and management.
 Cultivate a positive learning environment that fosters student confidence and self-esteem.
 Arrive well-organized and thoroughly prepared for each lecture.
Required Skills
 Profound knowledge of AP English and SAT English preparation.
 Exceptional teaching and communication abilities.
 Capability to engage students and facilitate meaningful discussions.
 Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and material development.
 Collaborative mindset and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
 A bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or higher in a relevant field.
 A minimum of two years of direct teaching or tutoring experience.
 Reliable transportation is necessary.
 Availability during weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
