Illustrator needed to create artwork for upcoming novel
I am currently writing my debut novel.
Unless I acquire a publisher, I'll be self-publishing this novel in February of next year (2027).
I'm looking for talented illustrators to create the book cover (the project in question).
If we establish a good working relationship I would be open to continuing our work together by commissioning chapter art and other illustrations.
This novel is a debut and I hope it could snowball into a trilogy or meta-trilogy. I would ideally work with the same illustrator throughout.
Interested parties should be prepared to submit existing art within your portfolio, preference will be given to those who have an interest in fantasy illustration.
I have generated "AI" images for the purpose of visual aid, but I do not believe "AI" generated anything can be considered art. Therefore, I cannot tolerate its official use, neither in my writing nor in your work. Please note, if you plan on submitting AI generated work, do NOT apply.
If all of the above sounds acceptable please apply! I am more than willing to work with people who are currently unpublished. I will work with art students as well.
