1-Year Contract (High Potential for Extension or Conversion)Are you a self-starter with deep expertise in IBM OpenPages? Ready to lead the charge in building a brand-new internal audit platform for a Fortune 100 financial services company? We're seeking a seasoned OpenPages Engineer who thrives in Agile environments and wants to play a pivotal role in an impactful system transformation.This is an amazing opportunity to join a highly visible, newly forming team implementing OpenPages as a workflow solution for the internal audit function. You'll work with a forward-thinking group of professionals, helping shape everything from initial configurations to long-term optimizations.What You'll Be Doing:Lead end-to-end implementation of IBM OpenPages (configuration, administration, and integration).Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and refine requirements.Take full ownership of Jira stories-from enhancement to execution and testing.Participate in sprint planning every two weeks, consistently seeking out and driving work forward.Resolve production tickets, troubleshoot defects, and ensure high system performance post-launch.Operate as a trusted leader and independent contributor within a growing team expected to scale.Required Qualifications:5-10 years total experience in software engineering roles.5+ years hands-on with:IBM OpenPages configuration, administration, and integrations (Hive, REST API, SQL, DB2)Agile development and SDLC methodologiesJiraProven ability to lead and work independently-self-starters only!Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.Bonus Points:Experience setting up OpenPages from scratchBackground supporting internal audit or risk/compliance systemsPassion for process improvement and innovationImportant Notes:W2 only - $55/hr + Medical BenefitsMust be available onsite in Charlotte, NC 3 days/week (hybrid remote schedule)Candidates must be able to demonstrate leadership and initiative during the interview process and in their resumes.Interested in learning more?
