Our Fortune 15 Health Services client is looking for a dynamic Synon / IBM Application Developer to join their Pharmacy team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer with experience in CA 2E/Synon to work on enterprise-level integration projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment. As part of a collaborative and passionate development team, you’ll contribute to building and maintaining scalable, reliable applications that support critical pharmacy operations—while also gaining exposure to emerging technologies and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using CA 2E/Synon and IBM mainframe technologies.
• Build and support RESTful APIs in line with modern application architecture standards.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand requirements, study systems flow, and improve application performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, identifying bottlenecks and delivering efficient solutions.
• Document technical designs to support enterprise architecture, training, and maintenance needs.
• Stay informed on new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with IBM Mainframe systems using CA 2E/Synon.
• Solid understanding of application development lifecycle methodologies and Agile practices.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.
• Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and eager to grow with evolving technology.
