I desperately need counsel
I have a NY civil case in Supreme Court, which was just issued a default judgment in my favor. However, along with being Pro-Se, and incarcerated, I have a terminal illness that in all likelihood will not allow me to complete the case. Brief synopsis: My wife passed away unexpectedly at home, and the landlord simply removed, and allowed numerous people to remove the contents of the dwelling. Bank accounts were pilfered. A very expensive coin collection, jewelry and artwork along with electronics were stolen. I have some receipts, and also have the landlord on audio tape instructing strangers to " be discreet, but take what you want. " There was a rush to re-rent the apartment which she lived in for 30+ Yrs. I'm more than willing to offer a generous contingency agreement AND a prevailing bonus to help me right a truly egregious wrong. I honestly need to prevail and recover funds, so both myself and my wife can be together in our final resting place.
