Hybrid (Remote & On-site) HVAC Service Technician

DescriptionTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians with specialized knowledge of Direct Digital Control Building Automation Systems (DDC BAS) to join our team in a hybrid role in the Greensboro, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair DDC BAS systems, pneumatic/electropneumatic systems, and HVAC equipmentPerform diagnostics on HVAC components and control systems; recommend and perform repairsOperate and maintain central HVAC equipment including pumps, chillers (centrifugal, vapor compression), condensers, boilers, and AHUsExecute preventative maintenance and respond to emergency call-backs and adverse weather situationsReplace and fabricate parts as needed; coordinate tasks with other tradesInstall and upgrade heating and air conditioning systemsMaintain and repair related mechanical and electrical components such as:Electric/pneumatic valves, VAV boxes, motors, sensors, amplifiers, humidistats, thermostats, etc.Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders and interpret system dataQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentStrong hands-on experience with DDC BAS systemsKnowledge of CMMS software; ability to interpret data from computer displays or communicated issuesExperience with electronic and pneumatic HVAC controls and mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies/on-call dutiesPreferred Qualifications:Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC, building automation, or related field6+ years of progressive HVAC experience in industrial/commercial environmentsProficiency in PC operations and automated control systemsKnowledge of power distribution, steam systems, and air compressorsCompany DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
