What You'll Work On
ā¢ Safely operate the equipment located in your department
ā¢ Become fully trained on all pieces of equipment in your department
ā¢ Be responsible for troubleshooting equipment when issues arise prior to calling Maintenance
ā¢ Safely, efficiently, and ergonomically use hand tools and power tools
ā¢ Trained to have the ability to replace chains, sprockets, guides, bearings, and all other wear equipment as needed.
ā¢ Become familiar with proper PM, inspection, and safety procedures.
ā¢ Successfully perform all PMās associated with the equipment in your area. Training will start with weekly PMs then move to Monthly, quarterly, and then annual.
ā¢ Perform all necessary routine repairs, adjustments, set-up, and rebuilds on manufacturing equipment in the Filling department: Filler/Capper, Cap feed system, Cap Sterilizer for Aseptic (CSA), Taptone, and other supporting equipment such as valves, pumps, and filters
ā¢ Maintain all assigned hand tools, equipment, Power tools, and shop equipment.
ā¢ Maintain specified machines, failure to maintain will result in unnecessary downtime, replacement, or repair.
ā¢ Adhere to training plan outlined by both Operations, Maintenance, and Technical Training. Training will include: operational training to be able to operate equipment, basic Equipment Maintenance training such as weekly and monthly PMs on equipment, basic Maintenance training such as basic measurements, tool basics, and basic mechanical systems through Edisonās Tooling University program
Youāll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Pay and Shift
The hourly pay for this position is $25.90/hour USD + 5% shift differential. This is a day shift position (6:30pm - 7:00am EST) with a 12-hour rotational shift schedule.

WORK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 6:30p - 7:00a.
DAYS OFF: Wednesday AND Thursday.

Required Qualifications
ā¢ High School Diploma or GED
ā¢ Proven experience in operating filling equipment
ā¢ Basic troubleshooting skills
ā¢ Willingness to learn and retain information provide through training
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Prior experience in a liquid manufacturing or packaging facility
ā¢ Prior maintenance experience or advanced troubleshooting
