Job Description:
Ā This position supports the Health Management Delivery Operations (HMDO) Prior Authorization team in performing the daily work associated with processing prior authorization requests.
Ā This includes processing of requests according to established and documented guidelines and within all contractual timeline requirements.
Ā Process to completion 100% of assigned work utilizing documented work instructions to meet daily minimum production expectations.
Ā Perform daily work according to established quality standards.
Ā Perform special project research as assigned.
Ā Interact professionally with PA staff to provide appropriate and timely responses.
Ā Respond to inquiries as assigned within specified due dates.
Ā Make recommendations to management to improve business processes and efficiency.
Ā Complete all assigned training, learning, and self-development in required timeframes.
