Hybrid Accountant
About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. Responsibilities
⢠Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including prepaids, accruals, amortizations, and reclasses.
⢠Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
⢠Support month end and year end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate.
⢠Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations in financial results.
⢠Manage the prepaid expense schedule, ensuring timely and accurate amortization.
⢠Prepare monthly accruals for expenses, services, and other financial obligations.
⢠Review invoices and supporting documentation to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
⢠Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
⢠Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation and audit support.
⢠Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
Requirements
⢠3+ years of operational accounting experience
⢠Experience with prepaids, accruals, and account reconciliation
⢠Proficiency in accounting software and general ledger maintenance
⢠Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
⢠Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
⢠Excellent communication and organizational skills
