HVAC Service Technician
Description
Superior Services, a local HVAC & Plumbing company with over 20 years in the community, is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician. This is a great opportunity to get in with a fast growing business where everyone on the team is valued and customer care is priority #1.
Responsibilities Include:
ā¢ Install, test, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
ā¢ Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
ā¢ Replace filters, clean coils, and perform other necessary maintenance tasks to extend the life of HVAC systems.
ā¢ Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues.
ā¢ Provide accurate troubleshooting reports and determine the root cause of system failures.
ā¢ Replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
ā¢ Communicate effectively with customers to explain HVAC issues, repairs, and recommendations.
ā¢ Provide advice and guidance to customers on energy-saving tips, system upgrades, and maintenance best practices.
ā¢ Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
ā¢ Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards when working with HVAC equipment.
ā¢ Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and hours worked.
ā¢ Work with other team members and departments as needed for large-scale installations or service projects.
ā¢ Assist in training apprentices or less experienced technicians as needed.

Requirements
ā¢ 5+ years' of experience in HVAC service work.
ā¢ Commercial experience.
ā¢ Good character and ability to work with a team and our customers.

ā¢ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
ā¢ Neat, clean and organized.
ā¢ Great work ethic.
