About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced immigration attorney with a strong background in family-based and humanitarian immigration to join our high-performing legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, cares deeply about client outcomes, and is ready to step into meaningful, life-changing legal advocacy. You'll work alongside nationally recognized experts who have argued precedent-shaping cases and are regarded as leaders in humanitarian immigration law. While this is an experienced-level role, ongoing mentorship, advanced litigation strategy sessions, and leadership development opportunities are part of our culture. Responsibilities • Independently manage a high-volume caseload of family-based and humanitarian matters • Prepare, review, and file complex immigration applications and supporting evidence • Conduct detailed client interviews and craft advanced legal strategies • Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and local immigration courts • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff • Participate in firmwide case strategy meetings and continuing legal education • Maintain organized, accurate case notes using Filevine • Ensure exceptional client service with a trauma-informed, compassionate approach Requirements • J.D. from an accredited law school • Active bar license in any U.S. state (AZ preferred but not required) • Minimum 2-5 years of immigration law experience • Demonstrated expertise in humanitarian and family-based immigration cases • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills • Excellent client communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment • Technological proficiency, including comfort with remote collaboration tools Preferred Qualifications • Spanish fluency (highly preferred) • Experience with VAWA, U visas, T visas, SIJS, I-601A waivers, and removal defense • Filevine or similar case management software experience • Proven ability to supervise or mentor junior staff • Court representation experience Benefits - Comprehensive health insurance - 401(k) matching - 5 weeks paid time off and sick leave - Annual travel allowance for team seminars - Exceptional professional development opportunities - Mentorship from nationally-recognized immigration experts Location This role is based in Phoenix/Glendale, AZ and is ideal for candidates local to Arizona or willing to relocate.
