The Inbound Contacts Representative is responsible for addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries in a high-volume healthcare Contact Center supporting primary care medical centers. This full-time role ensures accurate and timely processing of requests, including scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls.
Essential Functions...
Ā Accurately process all requests and take appropriate actions such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls.
Ā Resolve patient issues independently with a goal of first-call resolution.
Required Qualifications
Ā Strong customer service skills with excellent written and oral communication.
Ā Active listening skills with a high degree of empathy.
Ā Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with upset patients.
Ā Patient-centric mindset and urgency in solving patient requests.
Ā Knowledge of basic help desk software, computer software, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
Ā Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, speak).
Ā Minimum of one year of experience in an inbound customer service call center.
Ā High school diploma or equivalent.
Ā Ability to handle high call volume and multitask while providing exceptional customer experience.
Ā Experience with E-Clinical Works or other electronic medical records systems (Epic, Athena Health, NextGen).
Ā Familiarity with virtual contact center solutions (8Ć8, Genesys, Ring Central, Five/9, etc.).
Ā Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA.

Ā Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Work-At-Home Requirements
Ā Internet service must meet a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
Ā Approved satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be used.
Ā Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly payment for internet expenses.
