Human Subjects Research - Research Specialist

Ripple Effect is looking for a Human Subjects Research, Research Specialist with administrative support experience in biomedical human subjects research to support the client’s compliance assurance program at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In this role you will provide customer support and complete administrative review actions, while managing information related to protocol reviews. Responsibilities Provide timely and professional customer service and support by delivering accurate information, assistance, and documents to principal investigators, study team members, program manager, approval authorities and other DHS stakeholders Actively monitor a central inbox for new emails, prioritizing urgent or important messages for immediate attention; identify and escalate complex or sensitive emails to the appropriate POC for further handling Update and manage human research protocol files from intake and throughout the lifecycle and the information management systems used to track protocol review related data and other information Coordinate active backup of working materials to facilitate review of future actions by team members Contribute to the development of training and education materials Other related duties, as assigned Skills Administrative support experience in biomedical human subjects research Ability to provide timely and professional customer service Experience in managing information related to protocol reviews Ability to monitor and prioritize emails effectively Experience in updating and managing human research protocol files Ability to coordinate backup of working materials Experience in developing training and education materials Benefits Flexible work arrangements Diverse and engaging work environment Company Overview Ripple Effect provides professional consulting and exceptional talent for federal, private, and non-profit clients to deliver some of the most crucial policies and programs that shape our nation.
