Responsibilities Talent AcquisitionDesign and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent for faculty, staff, and administrative positions.Lead and support the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.Develop and maintain an employer branding strategy that reflects the college's culture, values, and commitment to diversity.Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, improve the hiring process, and provide guidance on best practices.Employee EngagementDevelop and execute initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and organizational commitment.Conduct regular surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to assess employee needs and improve engagement.Plan and implement recognition programs, team-building activities, and professional development opportunities.Serve as a resource to employees and managers to resolve workplace concerns and foster a positive work environment.Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI)Champion DEI initiatives across the workforce, ensuring hiring practices, training, and policies promote equity and inclusivity.Partner with college leadership to embed DEI principles into talent and engagement strategies.Performance ManagementCollaborate with managers to develop performance review processes that encourage growth, development, and accountability.Provide coaching and training to managers on effective performance management practices.Metrics & ReportingTrack and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for talent acquisition, engagement, and retention.Prepare reports and presentations to inform leadership on workforce trends and outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements EducationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles with 3 years in talent acquisition and employee engagement.Proven experience implementing DEI initiatives and engagement programs.Experience in higher education or the public sector is a plus.'Skills & CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment and engagement.Core Competencies
