Human Resources (HR) Specialist – Retail
About Us:
We are a growing Eastern European grocery chain located in South Florida, currently operating three locations with more opening soon. As our team and operations expand, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Human Resources Specialist to support hiring, onboarding, and employee management across our stores.
Key Responsibilities:
• Post job openings, review resumes, and conduct interviews
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and orientation for new hires
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with local/state laws
• Handle employee relations, attendance issues, and HR documentation
• Visit store locations regularly to support and engage with teams
• Assist with scheduling, payroll support, and HR software systems
• Promote a positive and respectful work environment
• Work closely with store managers to meet staffing needs and resolve conflicts
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of experience in Human Resources or retail management (preferred)
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Bilingual (English + Russian or other Eastern European languages) is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
