Human Resources Generalist I

Baker Law Group, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist I to support the firm’s day-to-day HR operations. This role assists with onboarding, recruiting coordination, employment documentation, and HR administration for attorneys and professional staff.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate onboarding for new hires, including orientation scheduling and completion of employment documentationPrepare employment offer letters, job change letters, and maintain employment documentation templatesAssist with recruiting efforts including posting positions, screening resumes, and coordinating interviewsFacilitate new hire enrollment in payroll and benefits systemsMaintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracySupport employee offboarding processes and HR administrative tasksRespond to routine employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefitsAssist with HR reporting, compliance efforts, and employee engagement initiativesExpected in office 3 days per weekMust be available for in-person onboarding/orientations as neededSkillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to support multiple priorities with strong follow-throughComfort interacting with attorneys, leadership, and professional staffStrong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage confidential information with discretionProficiency with Microsoft OfficeBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field1–3 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experienceExperience with HRIS or applicant tracking systemsExperience in a professional services or law firm environmentBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsPaid time offProfessional development opportunitiesCompany OverviewWe are a full-service law firm committed to delivering comprehensive legal services and exceptional customer service.
