Human Research Administrative Specialist

Ripple Effect is looking for multiple Human Research Administrative Specialists with administrative support experience in biomedical human subjects research to support USAMRDC’s Office of Human Research Oversight (OHRO). In this role you will provide customer support and complete administrative review actions. You will also gather, update and manage information related to protocol reviews.

• Salary Range: $45,000 – $50,000 (how we pay and promote)

Responsibilities
• Provide timely and professional customer service and support by delivering accurate information, assistance, and documents to principal investigators, study team members, program manager, approval authorities and other MRDC stakeholders.
• Actively monitor a central inbox for new emails, prioritizing urgent or important messages for immediate attention; identify and escalate complex or sensitive emails to the appropriate POC for further handling.
• Update and manage human research protocol files from intake and throughout the lifecycle and the information management systems used to track protocol review related data and other information.
• Coordinate active backup of working materials to facilitate review of future actions by team members.

Minimum Education and Experience
• BA/BS in a life science, biomedical, or related field
• 1 years of relevant professional experience

Basic Requirements
• Previous experience in providing professional administrative support in a regulated research environment.
• Experience in maintaining and tracking data and progress of regulatory reviews.
• Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, relying on your own resources and initiative.
• Strong skills in using MS Office software and shared workspaces such as SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.

Skills That Set You Apart
• Experience in supporting an IRB or human subjects protection office.
• Experience as a government contractor, supporting biomedical or health research programs within the DoD.
