Curo Pet Care is seeking an experienced HRIS & Payroll Compliance Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our HRIS (Rippling) across a growing, multi-entity, multi-state organization. This role serves as the primary HRIS administrator, partnering closely with HR leadership on system configuration, payroll compliance, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in a complex environment.Rippling experience is required; ADP, Workday, or UKG experience is a plus.Curo is a team of successful entrepreneurs and doctors using our own capital to improve the veterinary industry. Curo today is a family of over 70 independent veterinary hospitals, many of which have been significantly renovated since partnership or built from the ground up. They are highly profitable and well-positioned for growth with strong support from the ownership team.As HRIS & Payroll Compliance Administrator you will be responsible for:HRIS Administration & System GovernanceAdminister and optimize Rippling, including configuration, troubleshooting, and system enhancementsBuild and maintain automated workflows across the employee lifecycleManage permissions, approval chains, and system controlsConduct audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and complianceIdentify and implement process automation and continuous improvementsServe as internal HRIS subject matter expertPeople Analytics & ReportingDevelop reports and dashboards to provide real-time workforce insightsAnalyze trends across headcount, turnover, compensation, benefits, and labor metricsPartner with HR and Finance on workforce planning and forecastingPayroll, Tax & Entity AdministrationSupport multi-entity setup, payroll configuration, and tax registrationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local wage-and-hour lawsMaintain accurate deductions, tax settings, and payroll structuresAssist with payroll audits and reconciliationsCompliance & Regulatory ReportingManage required filings (e.g., EEO-1, state labor reports, agency requests)Ensure HRIS data supports ACA, benefits, and payroll complianceMaintain audit-ready documentation and internal controlsContractor & Workforce AdministrationMaintain contractor (1099) records and support proper classification practicesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with HR, Finance, Operations, and IT on HRIS and payroll processesCoordinate with vendors on integrations, APIs, and system issuesTrain internal stakeholders on proper system useCore qualifications:3+ years HRIS administration experience in a multi-state environmentDirect experience with RipplingStrong knowledge of payroll tax setup, state registrations, and compliance reportingExperience supporting payroll operations, reconciliations, and auditsAdvanced HRIS reporting (custom reports, dashboards, analytics)High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with discretionIn order to attract the right leader to join our team, we are offering the following benefits:Fully remote role, full-time, W-2Highly competitive salary ($85k to $95k based on experience)Bonus structuresHealth insurance401kPersonal pet care discountVacation and paid holidaysTiming: Immediate start (April 2026)About Curo Pet Carewww.curopet.comCuro Pet Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
