We are immediately seeking a highly focused Background Check Specialist to help manage a significant volume of candidate screenings. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and compliance of our hiring process. This position is ideal for candidates who have direct, hands-on experience performing background checks from initiation to completion, with a preference for proficiency using Sterling and/or Workday platforms. Shift 8a-5p CST The role will primarily be performing background checksServes as a first-level resource for colleague interactions with CR responding to inquiries in a professional, urgent and confidential manner. Performs and provides guidance on administrative tasks including, but not limited to, compliance document distribution and collection, verifications of employment and good standing, unemployment claims and review/approval of one-time payments. Monitors, troubleshoots and offers instruction for colleague self-service for initiating transactions in the HRIS system. Maintains colleague data in compliance with federal and state standards.
