As our first People team hire dedicated to supporting our French employees, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and people-first experience. You'll work closely with our global People, Legal, and Finance teams to help manage HR operations in France, from onboarding to payroll and ongoing employee support.As an HR Coordinator (France), you will:Ensure compliance with French employment laws and keep documentation and practices up to date with local regulations.Support onboarding for new hires in France, including managing required registrations, and helping employees navigate local processes.Collaborate with our finance team to coordinate monthly payroll in partnership with our local payroll provider.Track time off, sick leave, and working hours to ensure accuracy and compliance with French labor standards.Administer employee benefits, including health insurance (mutuelle), meal vouchers, and transportation reimbursements.Act as the first point of contact for French employees on HR-related questions, including contracts, pay, leave, and benefits.Collaborate closely with global teams, acting as a bridge between our French employees and the broader organization.Stay up to date on changes to French labor laws and advise the team on how they may impact processes or policies.You may be a good fit if you:Have experience in HR coordination or administration with a focus on French labor laws and processes.Are comfortable working with external payroll and benefits providers.Communicate clearly in both French and English.Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.Enjoy solving problems and helping teams navigate complex processes.Experience working at a start-up.If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
