Harris Health System is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our team in providing essential services to the residents of Harris County, Texas. Established in 1966, we are committed to championing better health for our community, particularly focusing on low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients. Our healthcare system encompasses a wide range of services, including acute and primary care, wellness programs, disease management, and population health services. We operate two major hospitals: Ben Taub Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, a Level 3 Trauma Center, which serve as the backbone of our extensive network of 39 clinics, health centers, specialty locations, and virtual telemedicine services. Our clinics and health centers have also received the prestigious National Committee for Quality Assurance designation for patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.

Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff and interns.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Requirements
Valid Texas nursing license or equivalent healthcare certification.

Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a public health or community health environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-haves
