Job Title: Chemist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our team to support the development and implementation of new test methods within our quality control laboratory. This role involves validating test methods and subsequently training fellow chemists to ensure adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities • Develop and implement new test methods for quality control. • Validate test methods to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Train chemists on new test methods and procedures. • Utilize High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for method validation. • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain quality standards. Essential Skills • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. • Proven experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). • Experience with method validation processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Familiarity with Empower software is a plus. • Experience within the chemical industry is advantageous. Work Environment The role is based in a quality control laboratory operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling a 40-hour work week. The position requires working in a controlled lab environment focused on maintaining high-quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
