Job Responsibilities
Ā You will be responsible for maintaining all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner to protect the safety and health of others.
Ā Your duties will include inspecting and using judgment in determining which cleaning techniques to follow, as outlined in orientation guidelines.
Ā You will also be expected to demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by your supervisor.
Ā In addition, you may be required to disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
Ā Your attention to detail and commitment to universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials are essential.
Ā You will also be responsible for keeping carts properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
Ā A key aspect of this role is promoting effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times, and assisting in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
