Hotel Bellman / Doorman Part-Time
Weekend Bellman position at luxury hotel near JFK Airport . Great potential for cash tips daily.
Essential Duties:
First & last impression of hotel guests
Greet guests
Escort guests to their rooms
Check in baggage
Explain and identify room features to guests
Assist guests in unloading and loading of luggage from vehicle
Bring baggage to assigned hotel rooms and back to lobby and baggage storage area
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Job Requirements:
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Friendly, congenial and a team player.
Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours and operations, and must be knowledgeable of the surrounding areas
Must be able to lift 50 pounds plus
Must be physically fit to stand for an 8 hour shift
Must be in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
Supply guests with directions and arrange for transportation for guests.
