Job Description for Host Team Member:
Our franchise organization, John Gomez Enterprises, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Host Team Member's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.
Guest Service:
ā¢ Greets customers as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a personal touch, and extends an invitation to return upon their exit.
ā¢ Provides support services to guests who seek assistance.
ā¢ Manages the GC To Go order processing system smoothly.
ā¢ Kind and respectful when communicating over the phone.
ā¢ Handles payments accurately.
ā¢ Comprehends and complies with responsibilities tied to just-in-time delivery.
ā¢ Informed about the offerings on the buffet each day and proficient in the menu choices and pricing.
Cleanliness:
ā¢ Ensures the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding spaces are clean and orderly.
ā¢ Support is required to oversee the proper setup of the buffet and ensure the accuracy of all labels. This includes maintaining cleanliness in and around the buffet areas.
ā¢ Abides by the statutes enforced by the nearby health department.
ā¢ Manages duty rosters to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards consistently.
Operational Excellence:
ā¢ Notifies the manager of the appropriate time to move cash from the register to the secure safe in order to reduce the likelihood of robbery.
ā¢ Assures that the daily paperwork reconciles with the drawer balance.
