Hospital Coder II - ARMC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hospital Coder II to join our team at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in Colton, CA. As a Hospital Coder II, you will be responsible for abstracting and coding complex inpatient charts for our Level I Trauma Center using International Coding of Diseases (ICD-10) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding classifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Review charts and identify procedures
Abstract and code patient charts utilizing ICD-10 and CPT coding classifications
Evaluate charts for completeness and accuracy in conformance with current standards and regulations
Contact hospital staff to complete charts and/or clarify information for coding purposes
Benefits and Requirements:
Competitive salary: $54,204.8 - $74,568 per year

Must possess and maintain one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC issued by AHIMA
Two years of experience coding inpatient stays in a Level I or II Trauma Center utilizing ICD-10 and CPT coding classifications
