HOSPITAL SALES REP - CAPITAL EQUIPMENT
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years hospital experience in surgical, disposables or capital equipment
sales. Ideal candidate will have hospital sales experience calling on multiple departments and working with multiple decision makers. Territory Includes: Minnesota, Iowa and North Dakota
Responsibilities
⢠Create awareness, trial, and usage (capital equipment).
⢠Expand existing business on current customer base and target accounts to include GPO, IDN, individual hospital and alternate care accounts.
⢠Target Purchasing and Sourcing Managers to move forward current GPO and IDN contracts.
⢠Competency in planning, prioritizing, monitoring, and tracking all sales cycle events, while presenting the clinical benefits of our products to individuals and committees.
⢠Responsible for forecasting, monitoring, and posting sales activities for the respective territory.
⢠Clinically sell & differentiate products within hospital and surgery centers in the territory.
⢠Provide product introduction, education, and training to customers.
Qualifications
⢠Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant medical sales experience in surgical, disposable or capital equipment sales experience
⢠Capital Equipment Sales experience a PLUS!
⢠Light Medical Reps i.e. Surgical Sales Associates please APPLY!
⢠Proven sales experience selling medical products in a hospital or alternate care environment.
⢠Ability to clinically differentiate products and navigate multiple call points within the hospital.
⢠Experience calling on multi-departments at a hospital, surgery center, or at the IDN level.
⢠Understands how to work with GPO and IDNs.
⢠Demonstrated business acumen and strong understanding of sales process.
⢠Ability to travel within designated geography with up to 40% travel.
