What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Serve as a central communication link between the employer, patients, medical staff, and the general public
• Answer calls in a high-volume environment within a 24/7 department
• Respond to information and messaging requests for multiple hospitals and healthcare practitioners
• Make informed decisions to address provider messaging related to patient care
• Ensure excellent customer service and effective communication in stressful conditions

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or continued administrative education preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience in customer service or call center position, preferably in healthcare
• Must be customer-driven with a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
• Ability to work with diverse groups and process a high volume of calls
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Microsoft software applications preferred
