Job Description
Responsibilities:
? Assist clients with everyday activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
? Provide reminders and assistance with medication.
? Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
? Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dusting, dishwashing, and vacuuming.
? Engage clients in conversation, recreational activities, and provide companionship.
? Escort clients to appointments and outings.
? Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or surroundings to the supervisory nurse or manager.
? Adhere to all state laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
? High School Diploma or GED.
? Previous experience in caregiving is advantageous but not mandatory.
? CPR and First Aid certification (training provided upon hiring if needed).
? A caring nature and excellent communication skills.
? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and aid clients with mobility.
? Valid driver's license and reliable personal transport.
? Successful background check and drug screening.
