Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated General Education Teacher to join our team and deliver virtual instruction to students in North Carolina. As a General Education Teacher with Vocovision, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and supporting student achievement through remote education.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students in various subjects including Math, Science, English, and Social Studies.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state curriculum standards and individual student needs.
Utilize virtual teaching tools and platforms effectively to enhance learning experiences.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments.
Provide timely feedback and support to students and parents.
Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Education or related field (Masters Degree preferred).
Valid North Carolina teaching license.
Prior experience in a classroom setting preferred; experience with virtual or remote instruction is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms and technology.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
