Role Description
Focus School Software is looking to expand our team by hiring a TN State Reporting Analyst on a contractor (W9) basis. Our State Reporting Team supports districts in many states, and this position will entail providing TDOE state reporting support specifically for TN state Focus customers.
ā¢ Convert the requirements in the TDOE documentation into fields setup in Focus.
ā¢ Communicate to Focus programmers requirements for TDOE extracts.
ā¢ Communicate with customers in TN state about how Focus is setup to handle TN compliance.
ā¢ Take requirements gathered from customers and project teams and turn them into technical specifications for engineering teams.
ā¢ Work alongside State Reporting team to ensure documentation is correct and up to date.
ā¢ Evaluate and ensure specification documents are complete before releasing to Engineers.
Qualifications
ā¢ Knowledge of TDOE state reporting, standards and requirements.
ā¢ Ability to effectively answer questions, run queries, diagnose and resolve issues that arise.
ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
ā¢ Strong time management and organizational skills.
