Hiring: Remote Special Education Teacher in Virginia Grades k-12- Cross Categorical
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Bring your diverse experience to support students across all grades with a variety of needs. This role covers mild to moderate disabilities in a virtual school setting.
Key Duties:
ā¢ Deliver specially designed instruction (SDI) across subjects and grades.
ā¢ Manage a caseload with cross-categorical eligibility (SLD, OHI, ED, etc.).
ā¢ Ensure compliance with IDEA timelines and virtual documentation.
ā¢ Conduct online assessments and maintain service logs.
Benefits:
ā¢ 1099 Position
ā¢ Guaranteed Weekly Hours
ā¢ Competitive pay rate: $30-$35/hr
ā¢ School hours
VOCOVISION Requirements
Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
Home computer with high internet speed
Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
ā¢ 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
ā¢ 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
ā¢ Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
