Role Description
This role involves preparing and issuing accurate invoices to clients based on project milestones and contract terms.
ā¢ Review and verify billing data, including project costs, timesheets, and expense reports.
ā¢ Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
ā¢ Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
ā¢ Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.
ā¢ Maintain and update billing records and client information in the accounting system.
ā¢ Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
ā¢ Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
ā¢ Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
ā¢ Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles.
ā¢ Must have Microsoft Dynamics experience.
ā¢ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
ā¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ā¢ 2+ years of billing experience.
ā¢ 2+ years of experience creating invoices, understanding from an A/P and A/R perspective.
ā¢ 1+ years of change orders experience.
Requirements
ā¢ Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry background.
ā¢ Experience in project setup, billing, cost-plus, fixed fee, time and material.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
