Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to join a supportive team serving school districts in the Corpus Christi, TX area for the 2025–2026 academic year. This contract position offers competitive hourly pay, consistent weekly scheduling, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional levels and therapy needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student development and classroom participation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Texas OT license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) preferred
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students thrive in an educational setting
