We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our expanding Sales Development team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, contributing to the growth of our customer base within the government contracting sector.

Key Responsibilities
• Prospect and engage potential clients through a combination of inbound leads, cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
• Qualify inbound inquiries generated from marketing initiatives and convert them into meaningful sales discussions.
• Collaborate effectively with the Marketing team to refine outreach strategies and partner with Account Executives to tailor plans targeting specific opportunities.
• Conduct thorough research to develop outreach campaigns that align with the business needs and objectives of potential clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all necessary stakeholders are prepared for client interactions.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead information within our CRM system.
• Set, monitor, and report on individual progress toward established sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Required Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, facilitating professional connections with clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance a results-oriented workload.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot or similar.
• Comprehensive understanding of lead generation and sales processes, particularly in tech-driven environments.
• A collaborative mindset, focusing on both personal achievements and team success.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia area.
• A minimum of one year of experience in SaaS sales development, business development, or inside sales is required.
