 Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
 Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory standards.
 Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
 Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
 Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
 Implement and uphold internal controls to protect assets.
 Assist in the preparation of tax returns and regulatory submissions.
 Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects for the executive team.
Required Skills
 Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage, along with advanced skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
 Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
 A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
 A minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within the construction services industry.
 Experience with owner financial reporting is advantageous.
