Quick Overview:Company: WorkwarpStart Date: Immediate openings availableLocation: RemotePosition: Looking For 24 21st Century And Community Learning Program After School Program ParaprofessionalsCompensation: a competitive salary  Job title: 24 21st Century and Community Learning Program After School Program Paraprofessionals Company: Delaware Department of Education Job description : 2023-24 21st Century and Community Learning Program After School Program Paraprofessionals JobID: 23681 Position Type: Paraeducator/Instructional Date Posted: 8/22/2023 Location: North Dover Elementary School Date Available: September 2023 Closing Date: Until Filled District: Capital School District Description: 21st Century and After School Program Paraprofessionals Terms of Employment: 3:45 - 5:35 (including dismissal) 6 Paras (4 Sessions with 1 hour planning per week for enrichment as applicable) 2 paras 3:30 start time Up to 2.25 hrs Per Day Based on Schedule Monday-Thursday Every other Friday as needed, depending on Program Schedule- Field Trips additional hours Summer Hours as scheduled pending program approval Temporary based on funding Reports to: Building Principal Salary: $22.73 per hour Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree or Equivalent or Pass ParaPro Test Experience with tutoring or teaching elementary school students preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports and actively engages in activities for planning and implementation of a school year program to improve student connectedness to the school and support academic strategies for success Support instructional and leadership strategies with other paraprofessionals Participate in program development that would promote student participation, positive group interactions, and academic success Provide student support for school orientation, expectations, study skills, educational and personal goal setting, responses to authority, and personal leadership. Supports the collection of data for attendance, behavioral, and student incentives Participates in field trip and daily programming to support student safety Attend Professional Learning in support of 21st Century or After School Programming Sessions Reliable, punctual, and prepared to support facilitation of an after school experience Plan and implement lesson plans based on the needs of the program.
