Position Overview:
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will deliver personalized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. You will use cutting-edge technology to engage students, create inclusive learning experiences, and collaborate with families and other education professionals to support each student's academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and instructional strategies tailored to students' specific needs.
Provide virtual instruction and support in core subjects, as well as specialized areas as outlined in students' IEPs.
Utilize a variety of digital tools and resources to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting instructional methods and materials as needed.
Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development, and collaboration with other educators to enhance instructional practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Oregon.
Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and implementing IEPs.
Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a virtual classroom effectively.
